Currently practicing at Galaxy Pediatrics in Red Oak, TX, her mission is to ensure the optimal well-being of every child, both physically and mentally. We understand the importance of a comprehensive approach to healthcare, which includes nurturing their emotional and developmental needs.

Nurse Practitioner
Chad Bruce, a bilingual board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Galaxy Pediatrics, excels at providing counseling and anticipatory guidance to patients and their families. His expertise extends to diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and various health conditions affecting infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents.
Chad began his nursing journey by graduating from Baylor University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He furthered his education and dedication to pediatric care by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021.
With a commitment to pediatric healthcare, Chad initiated his nursing career at Children’s Medical Center in 2012 as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Nephrology Department. His wealth of experience and continuous pursuit of knowledge position him as a valuable member of the Galaxy Pediatrics team, dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of every child in his care.
Sandy Carbajal, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Sandy Carbajal MSN APRN FNP-C is a bilingual board-certified family nurse practitioner.
Sandy graduated with a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015. Her nursing journey began at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and later extended to pediatric home health. With a passion for pediatrics, she has dedicated 9 years to caring for young patients at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, specializing in inpatient units and pre/post-surgical care.
As an experienced family nurse practitioner (FNP), she possesses the skills to diagnose illnesses, deliver treatments, prescribe medications, and offer patient education. She is dedicated to providing top-quality care for her patients and their families by adjusting her communication approach to ensure comfort throughout all life stages.
Sandy, along with her husband, has 5 children aged between 7 and 23. She loves quality time with her family and exploring new places. One of her dreams is to travel to Spain.
